That's what having a much less stringent side impact safety rating will do. My Jetta is exactly as big on the inside as it is on the outside.

Comes in handy when it has to function as a "support truck" for my FR-S

How did you manage that?! From my experience the ABA is damn near bullet proof (except of course for the electrical system that must have been inspired by Lucas)

I drove it hard. 300K when it started to die. I did regular maintenance, the previous owner didn't, It was on it's last leg when I sold it. It was misfiring constantly.
